At The Cake Girl, we believe in the power of community and the magic of a perfectly crafted cake. Recently, we had the incredible opportunity to bring smiles and joy to the children and staff at John Hopkins All Children’s Hospital with an epic 3D castle cake. This remarkable donation was made possible by our generous friends at Power Design in St. Pete.
A Masterpiece of Sweet Proportions
Standing over 3 feet tall and weighing more than 200 pounds, this castle cake was a true masterpiece. It was intricately designed and meticulously crafted by our talented team at The Cake Girl. The level of detail and complexity in this project made it a unique creation, one that very few get to witness in person.
A Day of Delight and Wonder
On the day of the event, our team delivered the massive cake to the hospital, where it was received with wide-eyed wonder and excitement. Kristina Lavallee, The Cake Girl herself, was on site to cut the cake and share the story behind its creation. Children and staff alike were in awe of the grand structure, with many seeing such an intricate cake for the first time.
Kristina took the time to explain the process, from the initial concept and design to the baking and decorating stages. Her passion and dedication shone through as she engaged with the kids, answering their curious questions and sharing her love for cake artistry.
